About

Simultaneously I’m an artist, a Nia teacher, a change facilitator, a mother, a wife, a friend.

Nothing turns my crank more than experiencing or witnessing a healthy shift in perception, especially with women who don’t think they can…

Things I’m passionate about:

  • art of all kinds: giving myself permission to take the time to go see it whenever I can … I’m still working on doing my own art more regularly, which is really just play.
  • finding ways to have a beautiful garden without having to build a fence to keep the deer out
  • tasty, organic food that really schmecks.  I love finding and developing recipes that are wheat and dairy free, made with whole food AND taste better than anybody expects them to …
  • being on the water.  I love to float in a boat – a skiff, a kayak, a rubber tire, my windsurfer or possibly someone else’s fabulous yacht.

“Believe me my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
Water Rat speaking to Mole in “The Wind in the Willows” by Kenneth Grahame

  • finding fun/ joy/pleasure in everything I do.   Previously I wasn’t able to find it in anything, so this is a great adventure for me!
  • my family and all our hijinks, together and apart.
